What would Christmas be without the "Sounds of the Season?" Music holds a strong attachment to Christmas in most people's minds. Trinity will not be without opportunities to hear and sing Christmas favorites and new songs alike to help celebrate the birth of Christ.
The Christmas Cantata, "Joy Comes at Dawn," is in full swing. We are delighted to have members of small Methodist Churches in our area join us for this seasonal celebration. Our choir is working hard each Wednesday night and select Sunday nights to present a wonderful program. I hope you'll mark your calendar now to join us for this special event.
The Children's Choir is working hard on their program, "The Christmas Clinic." This program, features familiar carols set to the plot of a clinic healing people with holiday cheer. Several of our children will have special speaking, instrumental, and singing parts in the play, so please be present to cheer them on.
Though we will not be blessed with traditional Christmas performance from our handbell choir this year, handbells will reorganize in January. Members of the handbell choir are asked to be reconsidering their commitment to handbells and be prepared to meet to discuss reformation after the Christmas season. Even in great loss, God calls us to praise him, and we will press on with this beautiful form of musical praise.
